This past saturday I spent the day (2pm to 10pm) at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. My son and I got to ride all the rides we wanted and saw most of the shows. The coasters were great (especially Apollos Chariot
) Unfortunately we were wiped out by the end of the day.
Sunday I had trouble dragging myself out of bed before 10 am.
We have APs for Busch Gardens and this is the 4th time weve been this year. All the other times we have gone in the mornings and left by 4 or 5 and never been this tired. Of course we didnt do as many attractions.
My concern is trying to do WDW in 5 days in August. If I had trouble with just one day will we really enjoy our trip? Or does the magic help sustain the pace? Are there any suggestions about keeping the stamina up. We will be staying at CSR and are planning the afternoon breaks but I am afraid we may be so tired we will not get back to the parks in the evening.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

There are quite a lot of shows in the parks, where you can rest inbetween rides. Plus a lot of the rides are indoors and air-conditioned, which may help keep you refreshed and out of the sun (I imagine that walking around in the heat is what will make you most tired in August!) Just keep drinking lots of water and feel free to take breaks. I think 5 days to see 4 parks is very do-able with taking breaks- and anyway If you dont see everything this time- it just gives you an excuse to come back another time!
