I posted this on the Theme Park board but thought I should post here as well.. I noticed I can book wishes dessert party for our trip in Dec. Is it worth it? We would be doing it during MVMCP. Any help would be wonderful!

I've done the dessert party and liked it, but I wouldn't do both the dessert party and MVMCP in the same night. I like to get my money's worth of MVMCP, which I don't think you will if you're spending a chunk of time at the dessert party. We don't even do TS dinner on the night we go to MVMCP. We'll do a TS lunch and a QS dinner so we can maximize our party time.

There are always pros and cons to any special event. We're doing it this year simply because we never have before:thumbsup2 and I always add 1-2 new things each year. I'm interested in the view of the fireworks from this position, and the ability to relax while the park clears out and then take our time to exit. There's several threads on both WISHES dessert party and Tomorrowland Terrace dessert party (since the fireworks are no longer called Wishes), so search the board if advice is your decision-maker.

Well I pulled the trigger and scheduled it! I wanna try it this year since its just DH and I. Next year itll be 17 of us and wayyyyyy too pricey!!! :scared1: If we dont like it, then we dont like it but atleast we tried it. The only night offeres while we are there is our MVMCP night but it should be fun no matter what:) Thanks for the advice!

Took our daughter in 2009 and did this the first night we were at Disney. Great view of castle and fireworks. When Tinkerbell comes down off the top of the castle she will go directly above you and be close enough to wave at you and your kids. Did this during the Summer, so not sure about the differences in the Christmas show. Your view is not blocked in anyway as far as the fireworks are concerned. The thing my daughter thought was the greatest was that she got to eat dessert and watch the castle slowly go through its different colors. Again, not sure how the Christmas decorations will affect this, but in my opinion well worth it to watch the show. We will probably book it again in June when we go back.
