Hello all. I am brand new to this board.

We are going to WDW is September and I am looking for help in deciding where to stay. We want to stay on Disney but don't want to spend too much. THere will be four adults and our daughter, age 4. We will only need one room. My daughter will just sleep with us (will they allow that?). We have stayed at Wilderness Lodge and Carribbean Beach before. We loved WL but did not care for CB.

I was looking at staying at one of the Port Orleans or the All Star. Does anyone have any opinions or other suggestions? Thanks for your help.

Stephanie

I didn't care for CB either. But, you can't stay at the all-stars in one room with 5 people. Their max is four. The only resort that I know of that allows five (except for the deluxe ones) is Port Orleans - Riverside. They have two queen beds and a trundle for the little one. I haven't stayed there. I've stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter and loved it. You'll have to get reviews for Riverside from others.
Good luck!

We have stayed at both POR and POFQ and really liked both. Our favorite of the 2 would be POFQ however, because of the small size and recent rehab. We have not stayed at a value YET, but are making our first stay at one this coming Nov with POP Century so, we'll see how we like em. :wave2:

Hi Stephanie, and welcome to the DIS!

If you do a search on these boards you will find lots of opinions on all of the hotels. Just type in whichever resort you want to look up. Meanwhile, here's another link that will give you details on all the WDW resorts:

We stayed in POR with three adults and two kids (12 and 9 at the time). They had two double beds and a trundle, but that was six years ago so I don't know if they still do.

One thing you might keep in mind: four adults and one bathroom could be asking for trouble.....

Enjoy!

four adults and one child? i would definitely get two rooms... by the time you pay the extra fee ($25 per adult per night) for more than two adults in a room, it would almost pay to get a second room, esp at the all-stars... plus, i think a four year old would love the theming as well!

also, jftr, the mods (port orleans et al) have two DOUBLE beds, not queens as a previous poster suggested... which makes a BIG difference in our world! LOL!

whatever you decide, ENJOY! :flower:

Sorry...I thought all the mods had queen beds. We've stayed in them before but it's been a long time. We pretty much stick with the values now that we have young kids.
