We are planninmg 11 days At Disney, we have a house, there will be 15of us but we are not neccessarily going to be doing everything together, I am planning for my family of 5. dh, me, ds's 12,11,10. we are going easter week, On the first day we are planning animal kingdom (it will be a sunday)
Dh does not think we need the park hopper, any suggestion re that.
we are planning water parks as well as Universal 2 days. how many days should we book, 7 ,8, 9 or 10?
what day of the week would be best for MK?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

110 days and counting!!!!!!!!!!!  :cloud9: :cool1:

Easter week will be crazy crowded. Do-able, but crowded. Have you checked the Unofficial Guide or TourGuide Mike? I would start there with planning. Both will tell you the best park for each day. During really busy times like Easter week, it is important to follow the best park advice. Also, wherever you go, plan to be there at rope drop to minimize crowds.

Do you have ADR's? If not, you should probably get a basic plan and get reservations asap. You won't be able to walk into table-service restaurants that week.

WE never get park hoppers anymore. WE cant justify that amount of money because, personally, we NEVER hop. We spend the day in one park. If you plan on going to one park then dining at a different park, then yes you will need hoppers.

You have a house in Orlando, right??? How many days do you plan on going to Disney parks? How many are you planning on doing the water parks? IF you plan on doing the water parks then going to the theme parks in the evening, then Id get the water park and more tix.

Ive heard to not do MK on Monday. I dont know why, but thats just what I heard.....

Good Luck

I would check Disney website for calender to find out
when the EMH (Extra Magic Hour--for WDW Resort guest)
so that you can avoid the Park with this on that day.
The Park with the EMH Day will be very, very crowded.
Some WDW Resort Guest will go to the park with EMH
and if they don't have Hoppers they will stay at park
(plus the guest that are staying offsite will be added to
the crowd).

So is it best to avoid the park with the early magic hours or take advantage of them? Just wondering what to do.
Thanks

If you want to go to EMH make sure you have Park Hopper so that
you can hop to a less crowded park. Otherwise you are stuck the
the mass of people. EMH is ONLY for Guest Staying at a WDW RESORT.
You can get the EMH Schedule 6 months in advance on the Disney Website
Calender.

If you are not staying on property, you can't do the extra magic hours.

For that week, you really, really need to get TourGuide Mike or the Unofficial Guide so you can get a good plan and a good idea of the predicted crowd level at each park.

(But that wasn't the OP, so we don't know if they are staying on-site, or even going that week!)

But, yeah, if you aren't staying on-site, I'd definitely stay away from the EMH park, because there will be more crowds and you can't take advantage of the extra time.
