We are visiting Dec 1-12 & plan on a trip to Universal - DS is a huge HP fan! Does anyone have experience of how busy it is - whether buying the express pass is worthwhile, or the food pass?

We havent been to Universal for about 6 years :confused3 its all changed now!!

Also - one day or 2??

Thanks in advance :)

One of the least crowded times of the year. Express almost certainly not needed, definitely wait to decide until there to see for yourself. No experience with meal deal, but that's because most here advise against it. Two days, one per park.

I was there last year Dec 1-4, first half of each day I would ride and get right back on again with little wait. As the day goes the lines did start to form but not more than a 20 minute or so wait.
I spent about $20 a day at the park for eats; counter service, churros (love them), drinks, and so on. Ate breakfast in my room (had a fridge), and had dinner (The Three Broomsticks) once in the park.
The number of days is at least 2 if you can't manage more.
Also look for a posting that mentions the short cut to WWHP. It really is shorter, I use it everytime.

mesaboy2 posted a map showing the shortcut to Harry in the "Shortcut to Harry Potter" posting.

:thumbsup2
