Looking at 1 Bdrm villa options near MK that have full kitchen. Will have a 7 year old so pool is important. Sheraton Vistana, Sheraton Safari, Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress seem to pop up as options. Which would you choose if you were planning to hang out at MK?

love them all but if the pool is important Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress has the best pool.... although the other two have very nice pools.

do the photo and vistual tour

there is another one not on your list that you might consider

you realized with the type of money you are paying for the Hyatt you can stay at a DVC resort.

OKW, SSR, BWV, BCV and VWL all have 1 and 2 bedrooms villa.... BCV has the best pool (also the hardest to get because of that pool)

We've stayed in a 2 bedroom suite at Caribe Royale that was nice. I think they have 1 bedrooms. Didn't swim but the pool looked nice. It's pretty close to Downtown Disney.

forgot to mention that I am talking about renting directly from an owner for the DVC resorts....

I would need your dates to give you a rough estimate.

Since we want to hang at MK we tried to get VWL for 10/4-10/10 but no availability.

Holding ressies for BCV 9/30-10/7 but really prefer to arrive 10/4 to minimize missed school days for DD. Although SAB sounds awesome to me, since we plan to hang at MK, I'm thinking offsite at Lake Buena Vista might be a better option logistically if we can't get VWL.

OKW is nice - and has a new slide (a fast one).

OKW 1-bedroom 18 points for sun-thurs, 41 for fri/sat.

Oct 4 - 18
Oct 5 - 18
Oct 6 - 41
Oct 7 - 41
Oct 8 - 18
Oct 9 - 18
Oct 10 - 18

so total 172 - so this would be $1,720 ($10) to $2,480 ($14) - you can probably find it for $10 a point.

if you can take out the weekend (fri/sat) - you could save yourself some money....

MS is closed now - but I will call tomorrow. I can't rent to you, all my points are gone. but if there is availability I am sure someone on the dvc rental/trade can help you.

what members can get and CRO (Disney) can get are two different things. I would also ask for there for BCV. but they are probably gone. food/wine festavial is very, very popular for DVC members at both BCV and BWV.

VWL might be doable through a member. I will try and remember to ask about both OKW and VWL tomorrow....

oh VWL is more expensive - 214 points so $2,140 ($10) to $2,996 ($14)

here is pictures of OKW -

you can get both VWL and OKW 10/4 to 10/10 - 1-bedroom through a DVC member.

these are going fast - so I would go over to the DVC rental/trade board today.

BCV is not available for those dates.
