I do not know anything about any of the 3 resorts.

Do any have balconies?

Any have one bedroom or suites??

Any other entertainment in the area other than the two parks.

Who do you call to get reservations??

i suggest you go to the hotel sites either on the universal website or the loews website.

i am not trying to be a jerk and not answer your questions but there is so much information on those 2 websites that are a great value to you.

what i think is important may not be to you.

i love the hard rock hotel and have stayed there on my trips. this year i am trying royal pacific.

pbh has balconies. all have suites. all have pools
each hotel has a different ambiance to it.

check out the hotel sites for the 3 on site hotels. then come back and post if you need info or our opinion on what we think of them.

no matter which hotel you choose, you will enjoy staying on site

I agree with Macraven about checking out the websites. They're great tools for getting a "feel" of the hotels. Check out http://www.loewshotels.com/ and http://www.universalorlando.com/ for lots of info. You can book the room from either of those sites. If you prefer to call, then the # is 1-888-273-1311. Universal's website also contains info on CityWalk which has several restaurants, shops and a movie theater. The hotels, 2 theme parks and CityWalk are all within walking distance of eachother. If you don't feel up to walking, then you can take the boats. :)

Do any have balconies? Yes, Portofino Bay has balconies and patios. Limited and not easily attained. Unable to be reserved.

Any have one bedroom or suites??One bedroom suites? Yes, HRH has kids suites that have a seperate king bedded room and a connecting kids room with 2 twin beds. Another at HRH is a King Suite, has a seperate bedroom sorta, by a wall not a door have to see a picture. RPR has an executive king suite, this has a seperate king bedroom and a living room with a desk and an armoir and a pullout queen sofa bed. PBH has lots of suites the most of all 3 properties. All their suites start with a standard or deluxe room and add a parlor of different sizes and ammenities.

Any other entertainment in the area other than the two parks. There is CityWalk, it offers dining, entertainment, movie theatre, shopping daily and evening. SeaWorld is very close by and Universal offers free transportation on scheduled busses daily.

I personally book online at www.loewshotels.com there are codes one could use for discounts and packages that some benefit from. AAA APH are 2 room codes one for a AAA card the other is annual pass. You dont need the card in hand to make a reservation. Just at check in.
