Ok we decided we are going to buy resale at SSR for 200-220 points depending on the contract we find. What do we do exactly?Sorry if it's a dumb question. Completely new at this.

You find a contract somewhere on the web. You contact the company selling that contract and tell them you are interested in buying it. They will take it from there. Be ready to sign a lot of papers and faxing them and coming up with a lot of cash.

Kind of like buying a house.

I would say to spend some time reading the ROFR thread and decide how much you are willing to pay per point. Then go to one or all of the four big resalers and find a contract that is closest to your price point in your desired use year and submit a bid.

Ok! I thought I had to find a realtor and all that mess. I didn't realize the timeshare store (example) handled everything. Thanks!

Its actually a pretty easy process. I used ****, back in the day and everything went smooothly. :)

Reasle is for the most part very easy ,same as buying direct it only takes longer for the process to close .I bought both of my contracts on resale and did not think twice about it ,it was easy thru the tss .Good luck.
