Hi me again. I've added another day to universal since our previous plans to visit relatives has changed so we have an extra day to add to universal/IOA. Since we are already paid and staying at Disney resorts however, what is the best way to get from Disney to universal/IOA and back? Since we aren't really interested in driving we were thinking taxi but from what my TA told me it sounds expensive. Anyone who has stayed offsite of universal or at disney and commuted up there and back 2 days worth? What's the best way to go about this, renting a car or taking a taxi and paying the little extra money to have someone drive you? Also can anyone give me names and phone numbers to taxi's in orlando, I've asked this question to a few people but never got a straight answer or any at all. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

i *think* a taxi is appx. $35 one way.... IF you rent a car and drive yourself, you will have to pay to park too (keep that in mind).

I don't know what most do (we always stay onsite and don't do WDW), but someone will come along w/ an answer for you (when the 'morning' shift shows up! )

I have Tiffany Town Cars booked for our Nov trip. They are $65.00 round trip door to door. Their website is www.tiffanytowncars.com. Very nice on the phone when I spoke with them. They give you a confirmation number and e-mail confirmation.

You don't say how many people are travelling, Mears round trip is $16 per person.......

If we every do that...(and we have discussed it)..I would use SunRay (sunraytransportation.com)....We use them for all of our other trips to and from the airport.... :cool1:

A taxi by far. Remember when you rent a car its not just the little $35 a day that you are charged. There is also $25 a day for insurance, gas at 80 for a full tank that they charge you, parking, the fees just because they can fees etc., etc., the list is endless with rental cars.

i use Sunray car service.

they are cheaper than the others.
the reason for that is, they only take cash or travelors checks.
no credit cards.

when a car service uses credit cards, the cc company charge is always passed on to the user of the service.
