Hi Everyone,

We are going to Disneyworld in March this year. Our plan is 4 days at Disney, 2 days at Universal, 1 day at Kennedy Space Center and then we are off on a 4 night cruise. I am planning on taking the Magical Express from the Airport to the Pop Century. Then I am deciding if we should rent a car or take a car service to Universal Studios. We will also need transportation from Universal to Port Canaveral. Does anyone know if there is a car rental at or near the Pop and also that same company by the Port. We are planning on staying at the Residence Inn at the port. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Kim

Rent a car. It will cost about $60 to get to US from Pop. Then, it will be about $200, r/t, to Port Canaveral. I would rent from Budget. They are located in DTD. You can call them and they should be able to come out to Pop and take you back to their office to get the car. Then, if you want, you can return it at port, and take the shuttle to the ship. Reverse that when it's time to head back to MCO.
Or, just keep the car and pay for parking at port. That's what we do. I just love the convenience of parking right across the street from the ship. Walk off the ship, go to your car, load your bags and head out. So much easier than taking the shuttle to the car rental office, which is in the opposite direction, then driving back, past the ship, on your way back to MCO.
