help with transportation DL to Las Vegas

My sister is getting married next year in Las Vegas. We want to go to DL for a few days before the wedding. There will be 7 of us. I saw on Southwest that you can fly for $50 sometimes. Has anyone done this? My DH does not want to drive b/c of the traffic. Any other options?

Last december I flew jet blue for $89.00 per person, a short flight but well worth the money we got there so much fast and i heard that it is a boring right to get there from LA.

I would fly into Ontario CA instead of LAX. There should be lots of good flights.

Personally, I would fly JetBlue out of Long Beach since you are in orange county.... Flying Southwest out of LAX can be a nightmare! Driving times to LV can vary since they are doing construction on the 15 fwy.

last time we flew Jet blue and it was great , but with the time to get to the airport, security and a late flight we could have drove faster! We are driving this trip !

We drove in september and it was a beautiful drive. We did not hit traffic at all! It is about 4 house and there is a ghost town in between that is a great break! I say drive.
