Are you looking for recommendations inside the parks, inside the WDW resorts or all over the Orlando area?
One thing I would want to underline STRONGLY is that if there are things you want to try out at either the WDW themeparks or the WDW resorts is to make sure you get some priority seatings ( or advance reservations as they are now calling them) ahead of time. I'm going to start a thread on this topic, but I wanted to mention it here as well. I've had the opportunity to listen in to some of the calls into the Reservation System this week and I've lost count of the number of people who have gone off line frustrated because they can't find a vacant time at a restaurant they want to eat at for that evening. This is a REALLY busy time with the start of the 50 years aniversary and it is going to remain busy all summer/year. Not only are hotel occupancy %ages up, but a lot of Florida locals are making extra trips to the parks because of all the new rides, shows and attractions. If you want to have the chance to have a really nice sit down meal I can't stress enough you are going to find it MUCH easier if you are able to plan ahead and make bookings. For anything special (like character meals (particularly Princess dinners or Cinder's castle), dinner shows or Cirque) it's a really good idea to call AS SOON AS YOU CAN to make a reservation, for fine dining you don't need to call 90 days out (unless you have a specific location/themepark in mind) if you have some flexibility in your itinerary, but it's a good idea to call 3-4 weeks ahead of your visit to get at least some of your dining plans sorted out. As an after thought this is particularly the case if your group is outside of 3-4 people, the majority of tables in the restaurants are tables for 4, they have some for 6 or 8 and in some ( BUT NOT ALL) locations they can be combined. If your group differs from 3-4 people, you want to be seated at the same table, you want to eat at "regular" meal times and you're planning on leaving it until a couple of days before you'd want to sit down you'd better hope your VERY LUCKY.

My family also really enjoyed the Hollywood and Vine buffet which we did as part of the Fantasmic Dinner package at MGM. The food was really fresh and there was plenty of choice. Also doing the package means no waiting in line for Fantasmic.
I would strongly recommend anyone thinking of having something to eat at MGM and watching Fantasmic to look into the dinner packages, cost wise it doesn't really cost you more than you'd probably spend anyway (in the case of H+V I believe it's the same cost as just going in and eating there) and you have the benefit of guaranteed seats at Fantasmic AND you don't have to wait 90-120 minutes in a queue for those seats. IMHO it's a "no brainer"
It's a busy time, plan plan plan people
P.S. I think the Ming Court has closed down and/or been taken over by a Japanese restaurant recently.
I'm going to play my joker on answering dining questions so ask away with what you're looking for
