Help with time question

We usually drive to Disney but my DD16 and I are taking a brief mother daughter trip for MNSSHP in October to we are flying. Here is my pproblem. Our flight gets into MCO at 1:00pm. We will be taking Magic Express to POP. The plan is to check in and head over to HS. What time do you think will be safe for me to start obtaining fastpasses? I was thinking 4:00 but I'm looking to those who fly for assistance. My FP window opens tomorrow.

I don't take the Magical Express - we usually rent a car. So, I can't give you exact timing. We are usually at our hotel within an hour of landing at MCO at the most. I believe that the ME can take longer depending on waiting for other passengers to board before leaving MCO and how many stops the ME makes before your resort? Hopefully, someone with ME experience can give more info on that.

Remember that a 4:00 FP can be used up until 5:00 pm. That is allowing 4 hours to get from MCO to Pop Century, check-in, and then get to HS - I believe you are safe. I might suggest that the 4:00 pm FP is the one you are most willing to lose in case there are flight delays, etc.

I think 4 is probably good (knowing that it can be used until 5) - but I would book a less-desired FP at 4, just in case.

I think to start at 4 will be fine - so you have until 5 to get there. Estimating the worst for ME of 90 minutes and then check in and get on a bus to go to HS. The only issue you can't estimate is if your plane is delayed. What I do on our first day is make the most important (hardest to get) FP - the lastest. This way if you see you are being delayed I would go and change the first fastpass to after the last one - so it gives you more time. Have fun.
