We (myself, husband & son) are cruising on the Magic Sept 27- Oct 4th. Then we plan to visit WDW for a few days and catch MNSSHP. We have been AP holders in the past but knew we weren't going to get back for a year since our visit last September so I did not renew the APs.
I was thinking about buying MYW tickets for each of us (1 a month to help offset the bank account shock) and then upgrade them once we are at WDW.
I was wondering if I should try booking a package with room and dining. Or just buy the tickets and upgrade them and book room only and hope for AP discount.
If I book a package and get the dining etc. How do they determine what amount of the ticket counts toward the upgrade to an AP?
Finally do I have to book the room when I buy the MYW ticket to get a package? Sorry to be so dumb but I have always just bought the APs and booked room only ressies before.
