hello all! I am planning 2nd trip to wdw 8/23-8/30 Am staying off property my son and i have tickets I have invited a friend and her 2 children to join us (1st time@ wdw) not sure if they can afford it I offered to pay for villa and car rental as we are going regardless other friends are going in july through a company trip they will have left over tickets that expire in a year and are offering to give them to my friend to help w/ cost my ? is when we were there last we had to have our finger scanned with our tickets will she be able to use them without a problem? any help is appreciated thanks

Sorry, but if the tickets have already been used by someone else then your friends will not be able to use them. Tickets are Non-Transferable and the finger scan is how they are trying to enforce that. The will have to have unused tickets in order to get in. Good Luck!

thanks for the info I was also told since they are staying onsite and i the tickets never go through the turnstile they are considered new so i will definately need to look further into it can't take friend with tickets that are no good that wouldn't be nice

staying onsite doesn't prevent the ticket holder from having to go through the turnstile... the ticket still has to go through the machine... i don't understand :confused3

Yeah they still make you scan your finger so I do not think that you will be able to pass them along. But there are places that offer discount tickets all up and down 192. Here is one that my friends have used with success Disney Tickets.

if it is a company trip, it could be a series of one day tickets of some sort that would work... or tickets that started out unused in any way. but like the big scrapper sez... you can't transfer ticket.

I don't know I'm just trying to help her out she's never been able to afford to take her 2 kids and since i am going and have plenty of room i am trying to help her out by not having her pay for the room or car as we are staying in kissimee but yet i am trying to make sure as it would be horrible for us to get there and the tickets weren't any good
