We are going to WDW for Thanksgiving(06). I need to know wher to eat for Thanksgiving day. None of us have ever been away from home for Thanksgiving, so I wanted something memorable!! There will be 2 adults, and a 16, 13, 8, and 4 year old.

So, give me all your wonderful suggestions and why you would eat there for Thanksgiving. I am open to any and all options.

Thanks

Alisha

My family (10 of us, ages 6 -78) spent Thanksgiving at WIlderness Lodge 2 years ago. We had T. dinner at Artist Point. It was very nice, just elegant enough, but in a rustic kind of way - great atmosphere for Thanksgiving.

Have a great trip, I loved Thanksgiving in WDW so much I'm doing it again this year!

We are considering Boma, WCC, or 1900 PF! :Pinkbounc Anyone tried these have any input?? :lmao: We would love help deciding! :rotfl: Also, has anyone made their ADR yet?

In 2003, my family had Thanksgiving at the Cape May Cafe -BC. We're spending this Thanksgiving dining there again. Wherever you decide, I offer this advice:stay out of the parks!
We'll spend the morning sleeping in, light breakfast, a movie or miniature golf (weather decides) Have T. dinner around 4:30. Afterwards, those who still have stamina will go shopping at DD.

Brown Derby was excellent!! I wanted to do it again this year for Thanksgiving but my family wants something different. We did MGM that day and didn't find it bad at all.

Thank you all soo much for your replies. I think we are going to do AK that day and then try to get Thanksgiving at the Fort. We are staying in a cabin, so we will be able to go back by and change clothes if we want to, and then go to the pavillion. Then we might do the campfire that night also.

Thanks again for the replies.

I also had Thanksgiving Dinner at the Brown Derby and found MGM to be not nearly as busy as I expected. We did the Fantasmic Dinner Package so we had "reserved" seats at Fantasmic. After Fantasmic we went to see the Osbourne Lights. It was a perfect Thanksgiving!

This sounds like a great thing for us to do this year. I just wanted to know more specifically about the food at Brown Derby for Thanksgiving. Allearsnet.com said "traditonal menu" is this turkey, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese traditional or is it "fancy" with special dressings, casseroles and sauces that a picky eater would not like? Thanks for any help with this!

Another vote for Artist Point. Ate there this past Thanksgiving and loved it!
