Help with TGV

Hi all

This is only my 2nd trip to DLP, and last time, we just took the coach from CDG, which took approx 1 hr.

I'm looking at taking the TGV this time as it's only approx 15 mins.

I have a couple of questions I was hoping you could help with.

I have a 18 mth old son, if i book online I take it i will only need to book for me and DW, as he will be free????

also...I am flying into CDG terminal 2B. Where do you get the train from here? is it easy to find and how long does it take?

With a little one and cases I'd not be keen on TGV and VEA or private shuttle would be much easier to manage JMHO

I agree with this statement, though fans of the TGV probably wouldn't!! Yes, the journey time of the TGV is very quick (10 mins), but getting to the station at the airport and then to your hotel at the other end can take up quite a bit of time, and effort.

But if you're keen to try the TGV then you can find out more info in this thread, which you can also find in the Very Useful Info sticky at the top of the page. You will be able to walk through Terminal 2 B and D to the station, or take the shuttle bus that will take you on a fun journey all round T2!! Have a look at this map.

I think your 18 month old will travel for free - hopefully someone will be able to clarify that.

Children under 4 travel free on TGV as long as they sit on their parent's lap. If you want a separate seat for them, then you pay half price.

However, as you are aware, the journey to DLP is so short that a seat is almost unnecessary even for adults.
