Help with Star Trader

I read

"Also in each of the above rooms to activate your shops doubleclick on the cash registers and in StarTraders dbl click on the Alien hanging down from the sky when you see Mickey's hand instead of the arrow"

But I still don't get it. Any advice?

yes, my advice is that star traders likes to be complicated so I often will just click on shop while in the store. As long as you are in the store it will also bring up specials. Otherwise you have to be sure your pointer looks like a hand so you can click the register.

You now have to finish the quest to get a space suite magic pin to get into Star Traders. You have to use the pin, to get into a space suite and float over to the entrance of the store.

Ok, I'd like to elaborate even further.

Star Traders is no longer called Star Traders, but Inner Space Shop, so the
part of the guide that mentions Star Traders needs to be updated.

However, there's a huge Catch-22 in that in order to GET into the shop,
you need to complete the quest for Spacesuit magic. But in order to get
THAT magic, you need:

1. Divers suit magic, by starting the quest in the Captain's Quarters in Tomorrowland.

2. After you have the diver magic, you need to finish at least the first Autopia
Quest Track magic for the blue racing car.

3. After you get a car, you pick up gas cans in the Autopia Quest Track
until it awards you a Driver's License.

4. So you're wearing a Diver pin, a Car pin, the License pin, now you can
start the Space Mountain Quest Deck for the Space suit pin.

5. Once you get your Space suit pin, you can get to Innerspace by either
the entrace on the Quest deck (where the space suits are hanging) or
by following the curve around to the "exit" while in the Innerspace Shrinking
machine area to get to the platform entrance.

6. Activate the suit when you're ready to step across the barrier, then
head to the "shrinking machine". Look for the "exit" icons by moving
your mouse near the machine and you'll exit into the room that has a
Spaceship with a hatch labeled "Inner Space Shop".

Once you're in the shop, the double-clicking on the "floating robot" mentioned
in the guide makes perfect sense. Instead of a typical cash register in
the other shops, it's the robot as the "register".

To further complicate things, didn't somebody point out that it was possible to do the Space quest WITHOUT having done the Autopia quest?

For the Space quest, you need to GO to the room with driving tracks, but you don't have to actually drive.

They _suggest_ that you drive to earn your X number of credits by driving around and collecting those silly trophies, but you can just ignore them and sell a few cheap items out of your inventory to earn the credits as well.

Is this still correct?

Correct, you have to sell two items...one for 5 credits another for 10 credits.

My bad! That is true! They want you to collect trophies, but you can
sell a few shirts.
