Help with some planning please

We have been to Disney many time but only to Universal once before so I am realitively new to Universal. i was hoping to get some advice from all the experience there is on this board. here are my questions:

1 We can get 3 day park to park tickets from my MIL's union for 104 A and 93 C. We really only need 2 days and could do it in one if there is a good deal but this seems like the best ticket price out there. Do you agree?

2. We will be there for the week of Feb break 19th-25th what are the best days to visit? WWHP is our main priority. Then the studios park is the next important.

3 I am also hoping for any reccomendations for the best places to eat (sit down or fast food doesn't matter) I don't have any reservations now and we are a large group (12) so it may have to be fast food.

we spent 5 days at Universal this past July. i opted for the meal plan for 4 days. i felt it is well worth the money for adults. do not do the drink cup with the meal plan because you can only fill it at participating restaurants. we liked Louie's Italian Restaurant two times and the Hamburger Drive Inn place. Liked both of them, in US. At IoA, we liked the Comic Strip Cafe and Circus McGurkus. The food is unlimited and you can keep going back. We enjoyed it.

Mythos is one of the best restaurants in IOA....make a reservation, you won't be disappointed.

Also is the dining plan woth it?

The dining plan is worth it if you have people in your group who like to eat a lot. Otherwise...not so much. You can not share plates and it's only standard theme park fare. There are limited options for dining at both parks and frankly...there are better places to try that do not participate. I would recommend Thunder Falls Terrace or Comic Strip Cafe at IOA for counter service and Mythos for table service. It's a little pricey for lunch but it can accomodate a large group. At the Studios, Finnegan's is great for table service and for counter service I would go with Louie's. Louie's is on the meal deal so you might want to think about that. Mel's and Richter's have been hit or miss with me so I wouldn't recommend them over Louie's.

Can anyone suggest the best day to visit each park? We will be there presidents day week so i imagine the crowds will be big.

I would day either Tuesday or Wednesday would be the best days.

Tuesday works for us but Wednesday we have to be at MK for a YES program. Do you think we can do both parks on Tuesday? Or should we do a second day?

I doubt you would be able to do more than the headline attractions at both parks before you would run out of time...especially if you're trying to do WWoHP. If that's fine then go for it. There will be lots missed though. I think you should plan another day so you aren't as rushed.

OK so it sounds like we need two days. Do you think Monday is OK for the other day so we would go Monday and Tuesday.
