Help with Snack Credits

Can someone please explain to me where all we can use are snack credits at on the dining plan or possibly give me a webiste that will show me where we can use them. I am always unsure of what we can use snack credits for. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Also, when you're there, most places will have right on the menu a little DP logo next to every item that is on the dining plan. I was stressed out before going if I'd know where and who sold items on the snack plan. I found that a lot of the places had items for the dining plan.
