help with senior pics

Ok i am not a professional but with 5 kids i have learned to do my own pics since money was tight with 5 little ones..

Any ways i want to do a senior pic of my son .That isnt a problem ..But what id like to do is take a photo of his class ring and somehow put it in the bottom corner like the prof do with there name...Is this possible and what program is the easiest for me that isnt that computer savy..lol Thanks ...

My wife says you can use Microsoft Word to combine the pics into a single document, and with a little fiddling, get it to look like a single photo, then print it. This may be the easiest, cheapest way, if you have Word (or any other good word-processor). But, it may take some time figuring out how to get it just the way you want.

MS Picture IT! is a very easy photo program to use. Just about any program will do. With Word, I don't know if you'll be able to save it as a seperate JPEG. Anything with pictures I either use Picture IT! or Photoshop Elements.

GIMP 2 is what I use, works well and it's free.

Thanks darlene, i might try gimp out ..My son is giving girlfreind a lovely ring for valentines maybe ill do a practice pic with them first lol ...

paint shop pro photo XI would do that easily, you can download a 30 day trial version,
