We are taking 28 months old twins to WDW in October for 8 nights, staying at BCV! This will be their first trip!

I need help with a schedule! We are planning on doing 4-5 park days, should we do every other day or 2 in a row, then 1 off?

Does anyone have a sample schedule they did with really young kids? Thanks!!

We were there in March with our twin boys (they were 2 when we arrived and turned 3 mid way into our trip). We went to the parks everyday (8 days). We did RD took breaks in the afternoon (on our MK and Ep days) and went back for a few hours in the evening. Our AK and DHS days were 3/4 days - we did RD and went till about 3 and then had dinner at a resort after they had a break. We had no problems with our kids. They did remarkably well. We made our plans assuming we would do RD everyday and then figured if they were tired out and needed extra rest, we would take a day off but it wasn't necessary. The only change we made that week was on Friday: the kids were beat since we stayed too long at DHS so we let them take an extra long nap - cancelled our ADR at Boma and then went and watched Spectro after they woke up. Worked great for us.

We are going in a couple of weeks with my 5 yo daughter and 28 month old son. We will be there for 8 days. Our plan is 3 days on, 1 off, 2 days on, 1 off. I think the key is not the number of days in a row but making sure you don't stay too long each day. We plan to leave the parks shortly after lunch time on all but one day, which will be a late morning at World Showcase. I think just pay attention to your kids, watch them for signs that they are "done" for the day. If they are anything like my son those signs will be hard to miss. Good luck!

Ours have been every summer since 15 months old.

We always get there at rope drop and stay through lunch. Then we nap and hang out at the pool the rest of the day. We take one day off per trip and usually see the parade and fireworks at MK the night before the break. This is our only late night. Illuminations is lost on kiddos that young and Fantasmic is too loud and can be scary. So we stick to the MK ones.

I don't think you need to take more than one day off and on that day I would still visit DTD. Just plan to have shorter park days. There is no benefit to staying all day with little ones. Everyone will be cranky.

Our disney vacations are all about the kids. DH and I take onw to two alone trips a year that are all about us. It might be different for you though. Alot would depend on that when setting a schedule.
