I was wondering if anybody had suggestions for a room request. I would like to be able to view the pool, but not be a mile away from the boat dock. Any room numbers, photos, or general suggestions? Thanks in advance! :sunny:

None of the rooms at the WL are that far from the boat dock, that's why we love it there! Everything is pretty compact, so if you request a courtyard view room you should be fine. We'll be at the WL villas this time (our 4th stay at this resort since Dec. '04) and have never felt anything was a long haul at this resort.

And depending upon what floor, you'll have to walk to the elevator anyway. I just request a room "not looking over the lobby"

pirate: Over the years we've stayed at the WL several times and I can honestly say that the Courtyard View is the best even though there is an extra charge per night for your room. The Concierge Level is also quite nice for a really huge upcharge. No matter where you stay at at the WL., the boat launch to the MK. or Fort Wilderness will honestly be just a short walk away, no matter what catagory of room that you decide to get. The reason the Courtyard View is so nice is that you can really take it all in as far as the views go. The woods view varies tremendously as far as what we've experienced over the years. It's like a roll of the dice as compared to a Courtyard View. No matter what, you'll have a great stay no matter which room you pick!!!! Hope this helps, Chip.

Why not over looking the lobby? :confused3

the noise from the WCC is unbearable at tiems : ) fun to eat there but not fun while you are resting .

If you are going to try the 7th floor ( concierge ) stay in "my room" I have stayed there 4 times I think and it is a great room ...view of castle , close to lounge, close to back elevators to take you to the Roaring forks, I like it there : )
