Anyone who has been to POP, I need help with what room to request. I heard the noise is less on the 4th floor and if you are not facing the pool. I'd like to be near the Goofy water jets I think. We have a non smoking room request already. Did not get the preferred room so it can't be in the 60's section. Where did you stay and how was the location? TIA

we just returned from pop last week room #0359. we were in 70's building 10 3rd floor. our room faced the playground but we were the 2nd room off the stairs located at the end by the water jets. it was a very very short walk to food court and buses. we never had a problem w/noise (thankfully). our room was on the backside of the 70's courtyard so i know that you could request a room overlooking the courtyard and water jets if you wanted. if you have anymore ?'s let me know.

hope this helps-

Thanks for the reply. We were thinging of the 70's building B. What do you mean by building "10" in the 70's section? Are they numbered? Thanks.

yes building 10 is the same as building B in the 70's section. actually if you are looking at the map with the lake on the bottom we were on the corner of building B closest to the classic hall.

You'll always get a funny look by CM's when you refer to buildings by letter code. We have no clue what they are, since we always refer to buildings by numbers. From what I hear, the new map coming out will be switching over to numbers as well.

50s - Buildings 1, 2 (furthest from Classic Hall) & 3 (Closest to Hourglass Lake)
60s - Buildings 4 (50s side) & 5 (60s side)
70s - Buildings 6 (Closest to Hourglass Lake) & 10
80s - Buildings 7 (furthest from Classic Hall) & 9 (closest to Classic Hall)
90s - Building 8

Well, with that building numbering system we now know for sure that Goofy is not retired.::yes::

If you look at it from an aerial standpoint, it makes a loop, and ends up making sense.
