Help with room choice Jambo House

Hi All! Stayed at Kidani last year with room recommendations that worked out great so I'm hoping you all can steer me in the right direction again.

We have a standard 1 bedroom reserved at AK Jambo House. Last year at Kidani we stayed in the Timon area and loved the close proximity to the buses. I think we would like to be close to the buses again. Can anyone suggest where we should request? Thanks so much in advance.

Standards at Jambo come in two versions: (a) rooms overlooking the pool, and (b) a number of rooms that were previously savana view rooms which were converted to standard because views were not that great, which rooms are located in various locations throughout the resort. You can request close to transportation, which would likely result in a pool view room, although there is some chance it could also result in a partial savanna view room. If you want one of the best chances to avoid pool view and get a room converted from savanna view, but risk possibly getting a room that is a long walk to lobby and transportation, ask for room on Kudo trail side of building, the left side of the u-shaped building where the only standards are those converted from savanna view. (Note as to the long walk to lobby, Jambo to end rooms on the wings can be long but it is half or less the distance from lobby to end rooms at Kidani.)

Is pool view generally considered good or bad? We had pool view at WL about 3 years ago and it was fine other than being a little loud during naps. Thanks for the info. Sometimes it's hard to conceptualize by looking at maps.
