part of 6 adults- we are staying at a 2 bedroom DVC suite- choices are
Rivera
Saratoga springs
old key west
boulder ridge GF villas

any thoughts on best- we will be going to all parks- would prefer not to have to wait forever for buses

I would go with GF Villas for sure. You can take the monorail or boat to MK, monorail to Epcot. You would have to take a bus for AK and HS unless you hop from Epcot to HS on the same day. Plus, the Villas are on the side near the Poly, so you can walk over there for more food options.

Are you booking on cash or points? And if on points, your own points or renting points? OKW will always have two queen beds in the second bedroom. SSR, BRV or GFV will have lockoff two bedrooms as well as dedicated two bedrooms. Lockoffs will have a queen bed and double or queen sleeper sofa (depending on the resort) in the second bedroom. OKW has very few elevators, so you'll take the stairs to second and third floor villas.

There isn't a resort that requires buses to at least one or two parks. Buses usually come every 20 minutes or so. GFV you will catch buses, the monorail and the boat at the main resort. Nothing stops at the villas.

GFV is the smallest, along with BRV. RIV has the fewest owners right now, so renting points can be tough there; cash reservations are easy. OKW and SSR are both condo style resorts, so they have multiple bus stops and multiple buildings. No hotel portion at OKW or SSR.

If transportation is a factor, I would eliminate OKW and SSR. GF Villas are absolutely gorgeous and you will have monorail access to MK plus monorail to TTC to get the EP monorail. The only thing I didn't like about GF Villas is they feel, IMHO, quite far from the main GF building where you access the monorail, bus area, restaurants and other amenities. Boulder Ridge is lovely, but it's just boat access to MK and buses everywhere else. Riviera is a bit of an unknown at this point as it hasn't opened yet, but Skyliner access to EP and DHS is very easy and efficient. Everything is also in the same building there, so it may be a little more convenient than GF in terms of accessing amenities. I, personally, would choose between Riviera and GF.

Is there a reason BCV and BWV are not on the list? When I want to minimize bus usage, those two are my first thought.

Of your list, for me Riviera would probably be first, and then GF, if looking at transport only. For ambience, it would be Boulder, Riviera, GF. For access to amenities, it would be GF (proximity to other resorts) then Riviera, then Boulder.

You will have bus transportation to some destinations no matter where you stay.
