Thanks in advance....Lori :sad2:

All photography work is copywritten. I think....

are you looking to add something on the face of the photo or in the EXIF data?

It sounds like you're after a watermark... the trick is getting them so they're not distracting. Some photographers put them across the center of the photo, to make them impossible to just crop out, but that leaves the picture looking lousy, IMHO. I do a fairly unobtrusive watermark in the lower right of my images, I tried to make it as mild as I could while still being legible.

But if you're providing someone with professional photos, you're unlikely to get away with any watermark, outside of maybe an extremely small "(c) Lori" in the bottom.

Thanks Groucho, I am gonna start putting the lor in the corner small enough to not notice well...:thumbsup2 ..I just wasnt sure about the whole thing...I love doing this but when it comes to headache i wasnt sure i wanted to do this ...My biggest thing i cant say noooo but im learning ..Thanks a bunch Lori

Granted I originally come from a pretty small town, but there was one photographer that held a bunch of clout and it was almost like your pictures were looked down on if they did not have her watermark on them. She mainly did dances and senior pictures. More people went to her for dance pictures than the official school photographer. Her mark was not a blocky text, but a script like font with her whole name and a very tiny (c). It was also a good form of advertising. If you are not doing so already, you should see if your print shop can put your contact info on the back of your prints.

For creating watermarks I use Visualizer Photo Resizer which allows graphics and text to be used for the watermark. It's pretty easy to use and it's free two of my favorite attributes.

favorite attributes about software or yourself...:lmao: :lmao:

Both although my wife would probably argue that I need to be updated as I don't have all of the features that she wants and the learning curve of getting to know me is too steep. ;)
