We are taking our 4 kids (11,10,7,4) to Disney for 3 days 2/28-3/2. We are staying at AoA and I have already made or dinner reservations for each day and fastpass selections. We are leaving this trip a suprise and not telling the kids. They will figure it out when we get there lol. My thing is I'm so excited and I want to pack now but want to wait til it gets closer to time so I can watch the weather.
I am looking for like a timeline of when to do everything I need to get done and if I have missed anything. Also, I would love any tips of things to bring or just any tips you think are helpful.
Also we live in Florida so no flights to worry about.

Thanks in advance very much for your help!

We went that same week 2 years ago and layers were key! T-shirts or tanks under long-sleeve shirts with a fleece jacket was the usual outfit and shoes (the flip flops didn't get worn too much that trip). The only thing we really wished we had was lightweight gloves (think the Dollar Store kind) because the nights got more than a little chilly and Disney sold out of them. We'll be there the same time as you (2/28 -3/6) and we will be doing the same thing so that we're prepared in case it's another cold week. I will have a couple lightweight scarves to wear too in case it's really chilly (and they're good for the flight as well). We live in NE so we're used to the cold, but it was almost NE cold most of the trip last time!

I won't do my final packing for the trip until a day or two before because the weather is so sketchy that time of year. I will keep a running packing list with me and add to it as things pop into my mind so that I don't forget in the last minute rush to pack. Sounds like you have the real planning done and now it's just time to pack and go. I love that you're surprising the kids!

Have a wonderful trip!!!

I would strongly suggest taking stocking hats and layers of clothing. I had not anticipated the cold and when I saw the prices at my resort for hats and gloves I went to the Walmart but they had absolutely NO winter wear out. It was January!
Better to have it and not need it than.......

We learned this tip on here years ago, but have used it ever since! Put one kids outfit per day in a gallon size ziplock baggie. Shirt, shorts, undies, sock, hairbow etc. Then the kids do not have to do anything but pull out one baggie each day and put it on. With 4 kids also, it makes the mornings go a little smoother. Write names on the bagggies if necessary. My kids are now 22,20,16 & 14 and they still like their outfits baggied.

Also years ago, I put each persons packing list on the computer. Now each vacation, I just print one per person and write in the numbers. Depending on how long we are going for, how many shirts, shorts, etc. This way I don't have to think about it each time we are packing. This may help so you don't forget anything.

Have fun and don't forget to use the child swap.
