Help with possible driving glitch requested

I have a blue car and a license under a mule but now, as I was trying to get his space suit, he cannot survive on any of the autopia tracks - I cannot see or get any gas cans or trophies. Not just for my mule - I can't see any on the tracks, even the ones with lots of people driving around. I took him back to the track where you get the license - (he HAS his license) and no gas cans there either

Anyone know about this or have any suggestions??

restart VMK,if that does not work restart your computer. That should take cre of it.
