Hi all. I'm new to these boards and trying to plan my 2nd disney vacation. I'm on a strict budget because I KNOW when we get there we'll spend tons of money on food and souviniers so trying to budget with the hotel and such. I found this AWESOME discount for $169 with 2 park tickets and I just need to buy more tickets for additional park days. If I want to stay an additional night it's $29.99. My questions are 1-is this legit? They took my cc info and are holding it before billing till Thursday? We will be driving down Jan 6 and staying till Jan 11. I am getting excited but want to know this is a decent deal. They said the ONLY catch is that the day before you leave you take a 90 min tour around the grounds. Doesn't seem too bad. I won't purchase any time shares or anything if that's the gig. And 2-can I purchase discount tix from another discount site? This one only allows 1 package per family. Thanks.

The problem with that is that Disney tickets become less per day the more days that you buy. Since you already have 2 park tickets for less than the number of days that you need, you will pay a lot of money per day for additional days. Disney's ticket pricing rewards buying for 4 days or more (price per day goes down).

Personally, I would skip the hard sell. $169 is how many tickets for how many days? Is it park hopper or one park per day?

Check mousesavers.com. There is a discounted ticket seller listed.

For price comparison, here are regular non-discounted ticket prices...

Have a great trip!

thank you! Only reason I decided on the $169 was because it's $986 for hotel and 4 days worth of tickets vs. maybe $300 for additional tickets. THey are not park hopper, which is fine. We're not into that. One day at one park. I just want to know it's not a scam. Was also looking into booking with AAA to see if that might be cheaper? Another option. Do you know if they save lots of money. $986 is fine but a lot considering me have food, souviniers and more to still buy.

I will agree with pp. If you are planning to go to WDW more than the 4 days - do not go with this deal - buy through Mousesavers (ticketmania or wherever) for the exact number of days you want to purchase. 4 day non-park hoppers according to WDW site (no discount) is $212 per person - so that would be $414 for the 2 tickets (plus tax), so that brings me to the difference between that and your total hotel price (not sure if tax is included) - but lets say it's ABOUT $500 for the hotel. How many nights is this for and about how many star rating would the hotel be considered and how close to WDW? There are MANY inexpensive, decent hotels in very close proximity to WDW - depending on your taste - you can go for $40 a night to $100.

Also, are you planning to drive there? If not and you'll need a rental car - you might want to price out staying at a Value resort on site - no rental car needed and free transportation to and from the airport.
