Help with planning MK days

We're going in September, our park days are Tues-Fri. Tues is a party day. I was planning to do MK on Tuesday and Wednesday but I've read some stuff here that implied that Wed (day after a party, morning and afternoon EMH) would be jam packed. Does that hold true with anyone's experiences? Is it worth switching our second MK day to Thursday instead?

There are extra magic hours every morning at MK in September. Not sure why Wednesday would really be any different than another day. Maybe they are referring to the evening extra magic hours? The lack of a Halloween party on Wednesday? I don't know...

Sorry, I should clarify. It's EMH in the evening, day after a party.

I would always recommend going to MK on a party day if you’re not concerned about the fireworks.

I totally agree! Tuesday is a definite MK day for us. It's our second day I'm suddenly second guessing - whether to keep it on Wed (day after a party, morning and evening EMH) or move the second MK day to Thursday

What really matters most is how you tour rather than worrying about a crowd on a certain day. Focus on your FPs and rope drop plan or FPs and evening touring plan.

I'd guess Wednesday would be more crowded than Thursday. People that don't have park hopping capability will likely want to visit the MK on the Wednesday with two EMH's; also, many will not have gone to the MK on Tuesday due to the shortened hours and a percentage of these will pick Wednesday just because it is not Tuesday with it's shortened hours.

The Wednesday I'm wondering about is Sep 25. We'll have park days from Sep 24 (definitely MK), Sep 25, Sep 26, and Sep 27 (definitely AK). Right now I'm planning for Wed the 25 to be MK and Th the 26 to be EPCOT, but I can switch those if necessary.

So far all the After Hour Events have been on Thursdays. So I would say Thursday would be less crowed unless they have an event that night.

Just checked and there is an After Hours event on Sept. 26th. I'm not sure if it has very much of an effect on crowds. If you have the extra money I would buy tickets for it.
