Help with planner

I am using Excel to create a planner and need to put in a number that begins with a zero. But everytime i try to put in the number Excel "helps me out" by removing that pesky little zero at the begining. How in the **** do I get it to stop?? I am going nuts here!

Excel is very picky.. To get the 0 you must first enter an apostophe (sp) like '05 . The apostrophe won't show up.
