Help with Photography/Video Prices.

I am interested in finding out prices for Randy Chapman, Misty Miotto and any other photographers that you recommend. I am also trying to find out the prices of STVS video. I saw a thread regarding a joint deal for Randy and STVS but can't seem to find any prices when I check there websites. Any info would be useful. Thanks my fellow disbrides.

For Wishes you get full day wedding coverage for $2895. Randy gives you a master DVD w/copyrights, full copy of wedding in color on DVD, full copy of wedding in B&W on DVD, 200 4x5 in a preview album, and 20 enhancements. Stan (STVS) gives you 2 cameras covering the ceremony, 1 camera for all other activities, fully edited in the classic style, 3 standard definition DVD copies, slow motion recap, sneak peek video on laptop for reception and uploaded to website within 48hrs. of wedding. Stan (STVS) also has the optional additions of a live webcast of your ceremony for $75 (we're doing this ), stylized edit for $175, raw footage on standard definition DVD for $175, and has high definition package options of high definition Blu-Ray disc of edited video for $150 and HD Blu-ray disc of edited video & raw footage on standard DVD for $250.

For escape, it's a 3hr. package (limited to 3hrs., no additonal hrs. added) for $975. Randy gives you 3hrs. consecutive coverage, and everything else he gives a Wishes person minus the 200 4x5 in a preview album. Stan (STVS) gives you 3hrs. consecutive coverage as well and everything else he gives a Wishes person except that the sneak peek video is only uploaded to the website.

These packages are only available until Jan. 1st.

Thank you all for your help. Now we just have to decide who we want to go with. Both Misty and Randy seem great. How to decide??? Thanks again for the help.

Request each of them to take a test photo so you will see their reaction, professional attitude and professionalism. I did that when I hired my wedding photographer. If you already know both of them how they work then you are half way there with your decision. It's not just about professional skill it is also abut social skill. Nevertheless the wedding photographer will spent the whole day at your wedding. Think of that.

Well if you compared the prices and they are both within your range, and you dont want to do the Randy/STVS package; I would take a look at the samples of their work. I dont think you can go wrong either way! They both do wonderful work, and i havent heard about a Randy or Misty complaint yet!
