We are now 30 days away and I've switched into full planning mode...wondering about which room to request for our first ever vaca to Universal (we are so excited) :yay: We have ressie for PBH 7/4-7/12 deluxe club room. Wondering if you can see fireworks from your room, which rooms have balconys, and which ones are most convenient to the club lounge and beach pool water taxi etc. P.S. Thanks for all the helpful hints on this board, (I've been reading all daily, but haven't seen anything about fireworks view) Wondering what room you guys that have been there would request. Also, anyone been to club lounge lately that can report what types are food are offered.....12 & 13 yr old boys are worried there won't be anything there they like.....
THANKS!!!

Just got back from our first stay at PB and we loved it! We had room 2663. It was deluxe club room- top floor - villa wing. Close to lounge and not a bad walk to the boat at all. Very close to both the villa and beach pools. We overlooked the beach pool- full balcony. We saw the MK fireworks every night from the balcony- they were right in front of us looking straight ahead.
Had two queens but no sofa bed. We had four in the room and never felt crowded- very large room.

Breakfast offering- oatmeal, eight kinds of cereal- whole and skim milk. A HUGE assortment of pastries- chocolate croissants one day were great! Two kinds of yougart-plain and strawberry and raisins and granola to mix in. Fresh fruit cut up- pineapple, honeydew and canalope. Whole strawberries with whipped cream. Apples and bananas. Orange juice and apple juice. Coffee and decaf- hot water for hot chocolate and hot tea. Bagels and cream cheese. Large muffins- bran, blueberry and banana-nut while we were there.

Small glass bottles of coke, diet coke and sprite and 16 oz. plastic water bottles were out all day.
During the day granola bars and yougart covered raisins were put out- Frozen lemonade also. Lemonade in urns were put out later.

Five to seven there was an anti-pasta platter, sliced and cubed cheeses and crackers and bread sticks. There was penne pasta with chicken in a cream sauce one day, fried stuffed mushrooms, fried cheese raviolis with marinara sauce one day that was really good. Beer- bud, bud light, and peroni. Several wines.

Dessert was the lightest- mini-canollis and mini pastsries and cookies- peanut butter, oatmeal and chocolate chip with milk.

There is a large balcony after you exit the lounge on the left that was never used while we were there. It was great to sit out on at night and look over the harbor. It had several tables and chairs.

Hope your trip is as great as ours was!

Thanks DSMOM
That sounds like just what we are looking for....the boys thought the food sounded great too...so glad to hear you could see fireworks from your room, I had read your earlier post and thought it sounded good, but wasn't sure about the fireworks, or had second thoughts on not having a pull out, but I think the boys would argue about who got the "pillow top" bed anyway. This way there would be no discussion!....
Thanks again, glad to hear you had a great time. Been reading posts lately (tripadvisor) about club level not being that good and not worth it. You've set my mind at ease.
