My daughter wants one with the slide out qwerty keyboard, even though TracPhone shows those the option disappears when I put in my zip code. Straittalk has a phone like I want but all the plans are like $0-$50/mo. I want to pay about 10. Currently my daughter doesnt text much or talk on the phone so for now I only need maybe 500 texts a month and a few minutes for if she calls me in an emergency. I liked the GoPhone plans but they don't offer the slide out qwerty keyboard phone.
Check your local Target, Walmart and Best Buy to see what Tracfones they have in their store.
I really don't know of anywhere you will find a $10 a month plan. Even tracfone's $10 a month is only 30 minutes, and I think their texts are 1/3 a minute so that only gives you 90 texts a month.
I use PagePlus and pay $12 a month, that gives me 250 texts, 250 minutes and 10 MB of data. You can buy a Verizon qwerty phone off of ebay, just can't use the already packaged pre-paid phones. It would have to be a used, refurbished or a new phone phone without contract.
