Help With Passes

We are going for 8 days in April.

We only need tickets for my DH & I, since our DS will only be 20 & still free.

Our friends are also come (2 adults & 2 kids), so they will need 4 tickets.

I have looked at the different tickets on disneyworld.com & so far the best price I can find is the 10 day park hopper that expire in 14 days for $494.16 ($232.00 a peice & we need 2).

Can I do better elsewhere?

I wanted AP, but they are just WAY to much right now. I guess if we go again this year we will just buy more tickets. I just can't justify spending $715.68 for 2 adult APs when there is "a chance" we are going back. There is obviously an equal "chance" we wont go back.

So should I go with the 10 day pass from Disney?

Help me out experts.

Also if you have tips on where our friend should get their tickets, we can use that to. They have a big more to spend then us.

1: check ticket brokers. www.ticketmania.com has good prices, but others do to. It will save you a few bucks: $474 right now, rather than $494.

2: try to map out an itinerary that doesn't involve hopping. That gets you down to $424, but it probably also means not going to EMH, since I'm guessing EMH parks are busier in general, and you only want to be there to take advantage of EMH and not the rest of the day.

If you get there, and decide you do want to hop after all, you can add it back on (but it will get you back closer to $494.)

Park Hoping is a must for us. We are traveling with our (will be) 20 month old DS. So we will be leaving parks in the middle of the day & hoping around.

Early hour days are not a big deal for us. Again traveling with the 20 month old, our days will start when he wakes up. Cannot imagine waking him up so often to go. He would be exhausted!

But thanks for the ticketmania tip. I will have to check them out. $20 is $20, and every penny counts in Disney World.
