hELP WITH OWNING TIMESHARES THAT IS dISNEY??

In the Myrtle Beach area, stationed outside nearly every restaurant is a kiosk with a timeshare rep (usually Bluegreen). They try to sign you up for a tour promising the usual freebies. This year the "sharks" were swarming more than usual...can you say oversaturation?

Typically, we try to ignore them or offer a simple no thank you - hey, everybody's got to earn a living. But this year, with our new DVC membership cards burning a hole in our wallets, we couldn't resist puffing out our chests and stating, loudly, we didn't need a timeshare, we belonged to the Disney Vacation Club! The salesman looked at us blankly and asked if it was located near Universal Studios. :rotfl2:

Perhaps their reps need more training?

train their reps or sales people - are you crazy. they might actually learn something.

But, I do recall him "promising" that one week at his place would trade for two weeks at DisneyWorld.
That is a true statement, just not at DVC.
