Help with our last day

We booked our outgoing flight late (6pm) thinking that we could spend the day at Disneyland. Didn't realize at the time that Disneyland does not open until 10am! (it's a Monday)

We have a rental car to return to Alamo before taking the rental car shuttle to the airport. I figure we will need to leave the hotel around 2:30-3pm, does that sound right?

Figuring that we will need 20 min or so to walk back to the hotel, we'd need to leave the parks by 2-2:30.

It's an extra $116 total to add 1 more day to our (6) tickets. Worth it for those last few hours? Should we find something else to do around LA?

Thanks for any advice!

I'm assuming by asking if you should find something else to do in LA, you're flying out of LAX, is that correct?

When are you going? If it's over a weekend or other busy period it may help to have 3.5 days to get some more rides in during a morning.

I'd leave at 2 if you are going to LAX. 3 if SNA or LGB.

In that case, I agree with ski that you should be driving away from the hotel earlier...around 2:00 I'd say. Driving on a weekday in the afternoon and having to return a rental car are both things that could slow you down..better safe than sorry! So then it's just the math...is 3, maybe 3.5 extra hours in the park worth $116? I'd recommend doing a character meal or something instead that day, but the cost of the character meal for 6 would be more than the extra time in the park!

Our last day there is Monday, Feb 6th. We are flying out of LAX :)

I would get in the park on Monday. Friday will be nice but busy in the evening and then busy Saturday and Sunday. It would be nice to finish with 4 quiet hours in the park and get in a last ride on the major attractions. I do this all the time, just a last taste before traveling home.

 Decided to add 1 more day to our trip. We are flying SW, and we were able to change our flight (with no change penalty) to Tuesday the 7th. Now we can spend Monday in the park and we will leave Tuesday afternoon :thumbsup2
