Help with online reservation-Aulani

Tomorrow opens my 7 month time for the beginning of our Aulani vacation. I'm hoping to book 12/19 through 12/28. I know I can only book 7 nights, so 12/19-12/26. I'm assuming I then have to make a 1 night reservation for 12/26 and then call the next day to get 12/27 My question : when does my window open to book 12/26? If I can't call until exactly 7 months, then it would mean waiting to 5.26?

Given the fact that Christmas week is so busy, would it be better to wait until 5.20 to book 12/20-12/27, and then play the waiting game for 1 night, since I should be able to immediately also book 12/19 separately?

We have Marriott points so its not the end of the world if I can't get the whole time at Aulani. But I'd like to get this done as efficiently as possible, maximizing my chances to secure a room at Aulani the whole time.

Book the first 7 nights tomorrow (if available) and then starting the day after, call MS daily and have them extend the reservation by one night until you have all the nights you want.

...but be on the phone when MS opens..I can attest from previous experience that the week after Christmas typically books up quickly, and there are a load of 7-month window bookers who are eyeing up the same days you are!
