Help with online booking

I'm trying to see if free dining or the room only code would be a better deal. I've read a bunch of posts about people booking online with the room only code and adding the dining plan and just paying for it and it's cheaper that way. But when I try to book online with the room only discount it never gives me an option to add the dining plan. Are all of you calling to get this info?

You have to book a package to add the dining plan.

Add park tickets and it should then allow you to add dining.

I tried that-no luck. I guess I'll just have to figure it out myself by just adding the cost of the dining plan to the room only rate.

You cant add the DDP to a room only

Click on the special offers link. Click on the link that says "Take a Disney holiday and save big on your stay". On the next screen, click on the Get Started button near the bottom of the page. Enter your dates, etc. When the next screen comes up with the room rates. Add tickets. Then you will be able to add the dining plan. If you don't need tickets, just add a one day ticket and subtract that from the total.
