Help with one last TS

I think I have almost everything set for my visit in June with my son, 11. I need help/advice for one more TS meal at MK. Closing is currently set for 10pm, but I'm hoping for a change of 11 or 12. We are on the dining plan, so that is why it needs to be TS. I have an ADR for Crystal Palace at 7:45pm. We are wanting to see Wishes and get a few end of the day rides in. That seems too late for dinner at a buffet to me, so I would like to move either time or location, but little is still available. My son does not like seafood, so I was staying away from some of the Liberty Square offerings. I have been trying to get BOG, but no deal. CP res was more to experience the location and I was excited about the characters.
Anyway, should I just keep the CP ADR and go with it, or do you have a better time/location recommendation for us? I'm hoping more options open up right before we go. TIA

I would try to find an earlier time. There really aren't any seafood restaurants in MK. Liberty Tree Tavern is a family thanksgiving style meal. If you like turkey and stuffing, etc., perhaps that would work? We really like the Plaza. Skippers Canteen takes same day reservations, so you could just make that reservation day-of!

I agree that your Crystal Palace ADR is probably too late to enjoy your meal and the characters and still get to see Wishes. We really enjoyed Skipper Canteen last month especially the hot and sour soup, the steamed pork dumplings, the flank steak salad, and the coconut bar for dessert. It was cool to see the inside too, especially the two side dining rooms. We also like the Plaza. It is right by the hub and when we were there the fireworks started. You could step out the door and see them. Liberty Tree serves and all you care to eat meal with a couple different meats, starches and veggies. My DD12's favorite is the roasted corn. I like the dessert.

Keep checking for BOG or an earlier time for CP. There are often cancellations closer to your arrival date. 30 days out is a good time to check. And I have often got lucky with openings just a week out.
