Hi. Requesting help from a parks CM. I haven’t been to WDW or in the loop since the non-exp tickets ended. My DH and I have two 7-day non-exp tickets we want to use up later this year. How do I go about adding these tickets to Magic Bands? Or can I just use the cards they are on to swipe to get into the parks?? I have been out of the loop for a long time so reading about having reservations to visit the parks is causing me confusion. We do not have finger prints for our tickets either as we haven’t been since 2010. We just want to be able to finish using up these tickets we bought a long time ago. Thanks!

You should try and add these tickets to your mydisneyexperience (if you haven’t done so). Once they are added, you need to make a park reservation using those tickets. If you have problems, you can call the mydisneyexperience help desk. They will fix you up.

Thank you! They are in my Disney experience already which means I can put them on bands, correct?

They should be. My daughter has an annual pass in mydisneyexperience and it is linked to her magic band.

Just to clarify... nothing is ON your MagicBands. The MB accesses what is listed in your MDE account. As long as the tickets are in your MDE account, any MB linked to you will work, as will any hard plastic ticket, or the phone app.

Thank you! you have been very helpful! I was trying to avoid going to guest services in person to connect my tickets to the bands. I’ll try to link them myself first.

Are you trying to link the MagicBands to MDE? Because you stated above the tickets are already linked to MDE. If these are new MBs, yes you will need to link them. If you have used the bands previously, they should already be linked.

Yep. i saw that they are linked in MDE. Forgot I did that since it was so long ago. And the bands are new, never used.
