Hi everyone! I'm planning a trip Oct. 6-13 and was wondering how the crowds will be and what we "must" do. (DD11 and DS10) We go to Disney every year and thought Universal would be a nice change. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Crowds are light during the day. At night it's packed for HHN. You'll see lots of threads about that as the date approaches. Where else are you going? With an entire week, you'll have plenty of time to see everything. You could add a visit to Sea World, Wet N' Wild, and probably drive to Busch Gardens. So we'll need to know if you're renting the car and staying onsite.

We will have a car and are staying offsite (condo rental).
We usually go to Sea World but thought we would try Wet N Wild this year.
Are there any shows or restaurants that you could recommend at Universal?
Thanks for your help.

We were there October 2004 (21st - Nov 5th) and I found you rarely had to wait longer than 20 minutes (often less) to get on rides, apart from The Mummy which hadn't long opened at the time and wait time was anything up to 1 hour. Probably different now seeing it's been open for a few years.

HHN is another matter entirely, but I assume with your kids being so young you won't be attending!

What kind of rides do you and your kids like?

(For the record we're doing the same dates again this year...woohoo!)
