Well I have just been pricing up for next August due to DB daughter not being allowed out of school at 4 years of age plus I would rather not take my DD out as will be 10.
I have had various quotes. Accomodation from the following dates 19th -24th Aug off site and 24th-3rd sept .
CO wanted £1172 for 5 nights RPR universal and and 10 nights pop but flights were £3979 with VA:scared1:
BA wanted £2777 for flights and £1096 for accomodation Pop but not a universal hotel just the ramada inn on idrive(looks fine though) so £3874.
VH the same as CO but £5275.
AA want £2666 for the flights from manchester which to be honest I would have booked and then done CO accom only booking but dont have £2666 to splash out.
This is without tickets and DDP as we will have AP and TIW card.
I am not worried about accomodation but the flights are ridiculous.
Does anyone know if a TA will book flights and we pay just a deposit?
Never done this . I would also book CO accomodation with the £150 deposit if this was an option.
Without going through the whole booking process does anyone know what the deposit is with BA?
I do not normally panic but flights are crazy and we have specific dates.
Havent even been this year yet:happytv::rotfl:

Hi I have booked VA flights with Pillenger travel who advertise on The Dibb forum. I paid £90pp deposit but to do that I had to include some kind of ground arrangement - i.e car hire or minimum of 3 nts accom. We booked 3nts at a cheapo I drive hotel that we won't be using as we are renting DVC points from a Dibber.

HTH

Claire :)

Kenwood Travel will take a deposit on flights and they usually have great prices as well :thumbsup2
