Help with Newark Airport

Anybody flown out of Newark(EWR) airport lately? What was security like? How long did it take you to get your boarding passes? How long to get thru security.

DW, DS and myself are flying out to MCO in May. I am trying to figure out how early we should get to the airport.

We flew out of newark last March and plan on doing so again in Sept. It did not take us any longer to get through security than at any other airport. The security was definitely more noticeable though. I would suggest getting to the airport about 2 hrs. before and depending on what time you are flying ....you'll probably end up with some extra time to just sit and relax

We flew out of Newark in November and had no problem at all. Arrived two hours ahead of time and probably didn't need to. But with the War in Iraq two hours is probably going to be needed. Security went really fast even with my DS14 pulled out for a search(zippers on pants).
