Help with MYW tickets please

I had a question about the 10day ticket. I am getting these for my family with no expire and park hopping. We are going to use 5 days this trip and 5 next year. My mom and her husband are just coming this time. They were getting 5 day expire with no options, but I was thinking if they want to park hop with us they would have to add $35 per ticket and at this point I dont know if they would actually park hop. Can they just buy a longer ticket (like a 8 day) and use 2 admissions on one day? I am asking this because it would be cheaper for them to do that since I dont know if they will actually hop. I would hate for them to be out $70 if they dont use that feature. I know it is only a few more dollars per day to add extra days to the base ticket. Anyone who can help with this I would appreciate it. THANKS

I can't answer the question about using more then one day's admission, but you could always add the park hopper if and when you need it. That way if they don't use it, they won't be paying for it. It will cost $35 no matter how many days you use it. Just go to quest service the day you would need it.They will adjust your ticket.

Sorry, but you can't use more than one day's admission on any given day. They force you to pay the $35 park hopping fee if you intend to visit more than one park on the same day.

Last week we tried to do just that. We had 6 day base MYW tickets. We went to the Magic Kingdom on our last full day (day 5) at WDW. We thought that we would be quite rushed on our departure day (day 6) to hit one of the parks, so when we left MK we headed over to Epcot. My DD10 really wanted to ride Test Track and Soarin again.

Anyway, when we tried to enter Epcot, the machine rejected our Key ro the World cards. We were told by the CM and in Guest Relations that base tickets could only be used 1 per day.
