I have questions concerning the basic way in which we use DDP. For example, if you could let me know how DDP works in each of these situations, that would be great...

Sit. 1 We get to a CS place with our 3 adults and 1 child and our youngest adult decides he wants something off the childrens menu instead of the adult menu

Sit. 2 Despite his assurance that he does, DH decides he really doesn't want to eat with princesses after all. Me and DSD go to eat with princesses, he goes somewhere else to eat

Sit. 3 We get to one of our TS restaurants, planning on using DDP. DSS decides he NEEDS a glowing ice cube

The adult can order off the kids menu but a TS for an adult will be deducted from the TS credits so it's not the best value. They might be able to give him a bigger, more adult serving of it though.

Sit. 2 Despite his assurance that he does, DH decides he really doesn't want to eat with princesses after all. Me and DSD go to eat with princesses, he goes somewhere else to eat

Then for you and DSD (what does that stand for?) will have 2 TS credits deducted for your meal from your total credits and your DH will have a TS or CS deducted from your total of credits, depending on where he eats (TS or CS).

You will pay extra for the glowing ice cube drink, unless you get a nice CM.

He can order from the childs menu, no problem. However, it deducts an adult CS credit all the same, and you get a smaller portion. However, the CM won't give you a hard time about it. I would suggest, in that scenario, you just pay out of pocket for the child menu selection, as it would not be too much, and save that adult CS credit for something else.

This is not a problem. Your husband can leave and go eat elsewhere if he choses. However, the problem you will encounter there is, if he is trying to just "pop in" to a restaurant and wait for a table, he may not be able to get one on such short notice. With DDP, TS places are getting a lot more traffic, and he may not be able to find a seat.

Anything you order outside of what is covered on the DDP (milkshakes, glowing ice cube, alcohol, extra apps and what not) they just charge a second ticket, and will bring you two bills at the end of the night. One bill you will pay for with DDP credits, the other you will pay for out of pocket, and it's completely seperate.
