I live in Michigan, and we have recently had a lot of rain. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but now my black eyed susan leaves are all turning brown and some have tiny holes in them!! The new buds are even turning brown. Do I have a mold problem or is it a bug? What can I do about it. It seems to have spread to all the plants. Help....

Sounds like there is some type of bug that are getting to your leaves because of the holes. Check your leaves to see if you see anything on them-you may need a magnifying glass, and try checking them also during the evenings cause bettles tend to come out at that time.

Patsy's right..also flip the leaves over and see if you can see some eggs of something underneath.

Ditto Patsy & Vanessa, holes makes it sound like bugs.
Spray, it can't hurt the plant.
