Hello everyone!

This is going to be my first time travelling with a child (who is almost 4).

We are staying at a timeshare when we first go down and then spending a couple of days in Daytona. We are coming back to Disney to stay for 3 more days and DH is letting ME choose the hotel!:woohoo:

The Coronado Springs really appeals to me. There is one major drawback...but I'm not sure HOW much of a drawback it is. For our honeymoon, we stayed at AKL and I hated how far away it was from everything! And I see that CS is in the AK area.

I LOVE the idea of the water launch at the POs.

Can you offer any recommendations on which hotel to stay at?

We'll be arriving late Sunday night, probably hanging by the pool Monday and then MGM on Tuesday, leave Wednesday. So we are actually planning on hanging out one day.

My brother will be staying at the Beach club, but I thought I saw the pool was being overhauled. It would be nice to stay close to him.

I honeymooned there and fell in love with CSR. The transportation was fantastic, a couple of minutes to anywhere. Plus we never had to wait long for a bus. The busses were never too busy. Have a great honeymoon.:goodvibes

I love POFQ. It's quiet and beautiful. The boats are great too. But if your brother is staying at the Beach Club he will not be able to get you into the pool, Stormalong Bay. That requires a wristband. If you are referring to Caribbean Beach, then you are correct the pool is under rehab until Sept.

I have stayed many times at Dixe Landings, since they changed the name I have never been there but if I went moderate it would definetly be that, I just think it is nice in everyway. I did rent a car so I don't know about transportation :)

CS is my fave moderate. It's beautiful with a great pool. There's several things you could do there on the day you stay at the resort. Have you looked here?

That being said, if you stay at PO, you could take the boat over to DD for shopping, dining, etc.

CSR is my favorite! Great transportation, the best mod pool, and terrific food choices. Check out my CSR website below for pics and info.

We love the POR. Great pool! Great counter service ! The kids love it. There is a great park for them to play in too. You can take a bus to the parks or a ferry to DTD. We will be going there again this year. :)
