We have made annual and bi-annual trips to WDW from 2001-2011. Last trip was in 2011. We went to DL in 2012. Then last year we needed a new car and new roof so vacation funds went to those items. I'm an avid planner and felt like I used to know my way around the MK like the back of my hand. I planned trips for us down to the last detail and helped numerous friends and family plan their trips.

Now with FP+ and the addition in Fantasy Land, it looks like I'm starting new, in terms of planning. I used to be a subscriber to TGM (since 2005) and followed his plans to a T, which were always spot-on for us. Now the site appears to be shutting down later this month, so I can no longer subscribe. I did subscribe to touringplans.com, but haven't done much on the site. The other new factor added into our plans is that DD6 is now an avid thrill ride rider. She's really tall for her age and is excited to ride the "mountains" for sure.

So what's my question??? I'm asking for help on how to plan our one MK day. We will try to get to MK around 4 on our arrival day, but I'm not counting on it, due to any number of things that can change in terms of plans. So we are spending one full day there at the start of April that is recommended for lower crowds. We want to try to get to all of our favs. So here is my start to planning, and please help guide me to rearrange things that might be better ideas. THANKS!

Get to MK at least a 1/2 hr before RD.
PPF
Pooh
Dumbo
VotLM
Tea Cups
Buzz FP+ at 1030-1130
Space FP+ 11:30-12:30
Splash FP+ 12:45-1:45

After tea cups and or Buzz, not sure where to go/how to proceed. The following are rides I know we want to get to:
PotC
JC
BTMRR - no FP+ was available for this date when I made them??
Laugh Factory
Barnstormer
And characters if we see them out and about or get to them.

Seems daunting to this avid planner, but I know there's a way! Thanks!

Yes, we'll plan lunch at a CS, but what to do before and after and when to take that lunch are my concerns now

Very full day....I do hope you get that all in....

As for suggestion on you "attack"..

Laugh Factory is typically minimal wait (under 15 minutes) and can be done anytime you are in that area (maybe between Buzz ad Space)

Pirates can be a short line or long....I don't have time of day that would be best to hit it though.

Definitely go to PPF first...very popular and tends to be consistently busy through out the day.

While there hit up some of the other Fantasy land attractions.

Sorry this isn't better organized, was just typing as the thoughts popped into my head.

The last time I was there in November, I did BTM at 11-12, SPM 1:30-2:30,SM 6-7pm. We did lunch between 12-1:30 at Columbia harbour house. Went into fantasy land then headed over to tomorrow land around our last fp time.
